But what exactly is Biomaster antimicrobial powder coating, and why is it such a game-changer? Biomaster is a leading provider of antimicrobial solutions, offering a range of products designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould, and fungi on treated surfaces. The following results are conducted by an independent laboratory according to the ISO22196/JIS Z 2801:2012 test method.
Each test sample is inoculated with a suspension of the test organism (MRSA and E.Coli).
The inoculum is held in contact with the rest sample using a sterile polyethylene film. All test samples are inoculated in triplicate, with an additional three replicated of the control.
The bacterial population on three control replicates is evaluated immediately following the inoculation. This is assumed to be the initial population on all test samples (i.e. the population at zero hours).
The remaining samples are incubated for the test period (24 hours) at 35˚c, at which time the bacterial population is evaluated.

How does Biomaster work?
“Silver ions embedded in the material substrate are released via ambient moisture and enter the cell membrane. The silver ions destabilise the cell, stop respiration and inhibit cell division, whilst blocking the replication of DNA, killing the cell.” – Biomaster
